I pretty much disagree with everything you just said! 🤣
Ok, time will tell. What exactly do you disagree with? Can't just disagree, you have to elaborate so I can make better use of the "I told you so" in a year or so. Also, don't forget I know where you live, tough guy! Lastly, cubs suck!
yeah bad take woof
Woof yourself....he and I are longtime friends and I was just busting his balls! 🤣
Here are my quick observations on the 3 HS recruits based on the film I have seen:
1. Wonders - can shoot, has good size at 6'5" but at this point his defense is non existent. Defensively he reminds me a lot of Ben Harvey. Lacks quickness on the defensive end. Mullins is a huge proponent of defense so don't assume he will get big minutes right away, unless his defense comes around. Wish I saw more AAU film, because his HS competition is not exactly elite. I wonder if he is slated to play the 2 or 3 position. I am optimistic, but his D has a long way to go.
2. D'Amico - has the biggest upside potential in my opinion. Great size for a projected 3 at 6'7" or could play the 4. Can shoot, handle the ball, pass and has some hops. Defense looks much better on film than Wonders. He guards the 3, 4 and 5 in HS. It has been discussed on here that he is in a shooting slump. I would guess that may have to do with covid related stops and starts. On film, he looks most ready to contribute right away. Also, the level of HS and AAU competition he plays is far tougher than Wonders. He is on an elite HS team and that takes away from his overall stats. I see him as a potential point forward in the mold of a Marcus Timmons! Very excited for this kid!
3. Ebube - Great raw recruit. Has good athleticism, can rebound, block shots. Offense is a work in progress. With how quickly Filewich developed this year I have confidence the coaching staff can coach him up offensively. He will never be the scorer, passer, or ball handler Filewich will be, but can be a better rebounder, shot blocker, and defender. Completely different skill set than Filewich, which is a very good thing for 2 young centers. I would expect his playing time to be very limited next year, especially if Muila comes back well from his injury.
Disclaimer - This is based on film and reading articles, so I don't claim to be an expert on these recruits by any stretch of the imagination.
OK, buddy. I bolded the things I most disagree with, but in a nutshell:
1) I think Wonders is a better athlete than you give him credit for. He is a phenomenal shooter/scorer and I DO think he'll get serious minutes right away. He may even start before the year's over.
2) I'm very high on the potential of D'Amico, as well. But you must be watching different game film than I am. His shot is seriously BROKEN right now. He does not look "the most ready to contribute" to me.
3) Ebube absolutely has a chance to play big minutes next year. He'll be the biggest guy on the team at 6'9" or 6'10" (whichever you believe) and can be a true dominant Center for us. I'm also high on Filewich and his mature offensive moves, but Ebube has shown glimpses of having great post moves, too, and the scouts are quick to point that out.
So, those are my disagreements. What a great sign that we can debate which members of this excellent recruiting class will be the best or most ready-to-contribute, though huh?
Iron Mountain beat Houghton 56-22. Wonders with 27 pts.
D'Amico with a game winning tip in at the buzzer tonight:

6'3 guard from North Haven, CT. Looks like he has offers from Mount St Mary's, Lafayette, NJIT, Quinnipiac

This would be a great get but that means they'd be over the scholarship limit. Unless someone for sure is transferring out already.
@barkeep-1967i think butler disappeared

Hard to believe he can’t even see the floor at all.
Small looks like he would be a really good get. Really athletic and great on ball defender. Real floorburn U type PG. On the surface he looks like a big upgrade from Butler. Always sad to see players who commit to the program go, but that may be the best way for Butler to get minutes somewhere else and make room for Small. If we get small I would anticipate Jones moving to the 2 with most of the PG minutes distributed between Banks and Small. Makes the 2 and 3 positions pretty crowded with Jones, Verplancken, Brown, Wonders, D'Amico and Harvey. Even more crowded if Domask moves to the 3. Of course, they may be looking at D'Amico for the 4.
