Foster Wonders interview with local TV after his 2,000th point:
FW is a stud. BM's job is to get him open for scoring.
I have a lot of friends and relatives in Northern Michigan and they are at a loss as to how SIU landed him, though they wish him nothing but the best.
March on triumphantly!
Dalton Banks knows Foster Wonders, says he is the real deal. Sure has a cool name!

Cool...and they have real fans in the stands! I love Canadian BB...oh wait.

@salukiworld I think D'Amico has a real shot at playing minutes right away at the 4 for SIU. I'm not saying he will start, but he brings a skill set we currently do not have. He is a great defender and good rebounder against top HS competition. He also has very good handles and can score inside and out. At 6'7" he can be somewhat of a point forward. He reminds me of Marcus Timmons. However, I think it is his defense that will allow him to contribute right away. Very excited for this kid!
Any new rumors on transfers?
No new names as of today that I know of. The transfer portal flood gates really opened up this week with seasons ending for most D1 programs: 358 and counting. Last year there were 1030 transfers.

I see the same thing in his ability to be a point forward. One of my prior posts said the same thing. I feel like he can be similar to Chandler Vaudrin on Winthrop (who is often on triple double watch). I did, however, find it interesting that you would mention good defense. I watched him play no less than 5 games this season and he looked slow to me. In fact, defense and outside shooting % were the 2 areas I felt like he might struggle. That being said, due to his size, court vision and high level passing ability, I do see him getting valuable minutes next season. If his defense is as good as you say, then he might be pushing for a lot of minutes !!!
I think D'Amico is going to be a good player at some point but I'm less optimistic about him this upcoming season than I was coming into this HS season. He's the 3rd best player on his team right now and continues to really struggle with his jumpshot. That being said, he seems to have tools that can be improved with coaching. He's seems good at things you can't really teach like rebounding and passing.
@insaluki not to call you out but is there a player that you don’t think is slow lol
LOL. Yes. Lance Jones is crazy quick and as fast as they come. Banks, Brown, Dembele and even Domask are all fast (or relatively fast). Take a look at Houston (another one of my college pool draft picks), you'll see what I'm talking about as far as quickness, speed and athleticism and what it can do to take a team to the next level.
ps. Bryan Mullins was fast and quick too. : )
