@resaluki-88 I would prefer Banks as the starting PG with Trent Brown spelling him. I was simply thinking outside the box

We did have Domask bring the ball up a few time last year. So I wouldn't be surprised if that continues to happen. D'Amico could also be a point forward down the road. However, I wouldn't want or expect either of them to lead the point very often. It is a viable strategy once in awhile if the matchup is favorable. I agree that Brown will backup Banks PG some.
I still think SIU will bring in another experienced PG. We are over-loaded at Wing and Post. Banks is our only true PG, as of now. We could use one more.
I don’t believe Brown has anywhere near the skills needed to play pg in the Valley, for more than a couple minutes here and there.
Recent PG offer Jaeden Zackery (Chipola College) committed to Boston College today.
I agree that Coupet starts; I don't see him coming in with the stats he had at UALR just to come off the bench. Here's what I expect as the starting five at the beginning of the year:
Jones
Brown
Domask
Coupet
Muila
Davanzo and Kyler played well together last year with a high low / inside out setup, so I see them coming in nicely as a second string backup to Coupet and Muila.
Brown may still be streaky offensively, but his defense and effort/intangibles are outstanding and we all know Coach values that.
Regardless, our depth this year is insane; if one or more of the freshmen vault themselves into serious playing time then look out.
I think there's already a big roster crunch and good players aren't going to get the minutes they deserve so I'm guessing SIU is gonna ride with the current roster unless something too good to pass on comes up, which I don't really anticipate at this point.
Chris Payton is going to Pitt, former commit from pre-Mullins

I'm going to say you're wrong. I still believe we are looking to add an experienced PG and I think it will happen. I could be wrong. Should we bet on it? 🤣
We are pretty sure one more scholarship is going to open. No clue who but I am guessing we all have the same guess
With this statement and the fact that SIU started to promote season tickets for next year and they are advertising that 97% of the scoring will return. I started thinking about it and came to the conclusion that there has to be another player not coming back. The math just didn't add up. Since the only two players that SIU has officially announced (Long and Butler) only accounted for 19 points that would mean SIU would be returning 99% of their scoring. If you added what Dembele scored last season 39 points to the 19 points already accounted for you get to the 97% that SIU has been promoting. This is my speculation and only my speculation but everything points to this conclusion. I guess time will tell.

Using numbers to confirm what was already the most likely guess of most people. I like it haha

Perhaps I didn't want to release premium content on a "public message board" 🤑 🤑 🤫

Ok but even I don’t know 100% for sure 😁
after the math I am at 99.9 though
