This team is going to have some really good defenders at the G position next season, especially if Cook decides to return.
Orlando Christian Prep beat Impact Christian 58-44 for their 8th state title; 3rd in the last four years. Eric Butler chipped in with 12 pts.
Butler was on a stacked team and wasn’t asked to do much this year, thus why we got limited stuff on him compared to Banks. Seems like he took over when it mattered today.

Eau Claire North had been struggling at the end of the season, including losing to Eau Claire Memorial recently, but managed to dismantle them in the first game of the WIAA Regional 75-56. Haven't been able to locate stats for Dalton as of this am.
They move on to face Hudson who they have played, and beaten, twice this season.
I looked for stuff on him but really couldn't locate a site to find stats or game info, etc. I think his offense is a bit of an unknown, but I believe his defense is going to be top notch and that will garner him playing time regardless !!
Sitting here watching SD St and Utah St play. I would consider them two of the TOP "mid majors". They currently have more talent than SIU but I feel like we have the pieces to compete with these top teams. The only thing missing, and something both of these teams have, is at least one quality BIG. I know we've pretty much all beat that horse to death but watching these top mid majors play reminded me how important it is for this staff. The good news, again, is that once we do add one, this team will be dangerous next year !!
Benson was great for this group, but ideally he needed an athletic, rebounding, shot-blocking, rugged counterpart. If this team would've had that and more depth overall, they would've been so dangerous even this year.
The ingredients needed to take a major step forward are clear.
