Southern Illinois, Carleton, Presbyterian, SMU, UofT, McGill, UofM, UofW, Alberta, UBC, UNBC, N Colorado, Milwaukee-Wisc + more on 6'8 Kyler Filewich. Strong, bruiser, TOUGH. Averaged 11.5PPG,91RPG,2.1SPG,1.1BPG on 58% FG for 22-0

If this kid can pull down 91 boards a game, I think Southern will be a much-improved rebounding team if they can sign him. 😀

Buzz Williams is gonna turn A&M into a force shortly.  He's done a great job bringing in top talent.

The fact that Jackson Connor from Marion hasn’t been offered by the staff is absolutely criminal. Big time scoring from all three levels. Proven winner, tough nosed kid with 6’6 strong frame. Perfect mid major face up 4. Multiple times to 3A sectionals. 3A Super Sectional as SO. Slow playing local D1 talent isn’t going to get it done Mullens.

Dont get me started about Mullens going to recruit Logan’s P5 players thinking he has a chance, while ignoring its bench players that are clearly MVC targets

Settle down there sparky.

I am almost positive the staff at SIU knows a whole lot more about the kid than you do.

Also you want to recruit JUCO bench players ?  Gonna go hard pass on that one

Found this little jewel of a video!

Kyler Filewich as a high school Junior in December of 2018.

Filewich's style of play could remind you of another Valley post player that Bryan is very familiar with.

Quote from linked page below:

#1 player in Manitoba for a second straight year.

According to Prephoops, we have been in contact with 6'4 SG Ramean Hinton (Curie HS). The top uncommitted prospect on the board in Illinois. He de-committed from SEMO after the coaching change.

Hinton was 1st team All-State according to Prephoops, Chicago Sun-Times and Illinois Basketball Coaches Association. He would be a great addition.

Nice video on Kellen Tynes on the linked page below.  Bryan offered him back in July, 2019.

I’m still very interested in Jeremiah Williams from Simeon...dude is super athletic and a big time scorer on a perennial powerhouse. Last I saw he said he was most comfortable with us, but haven’t heard much since then. Had quite a few schools after him including UNI and Loyola.

Not a big man, but with all the transfers I think he would be a solid contributor next year off the bench.

I'm hopeful but he had a few assistants follow him from the Big East recently (St. John's and Temple)

Sounds like a great prospect. Temple is not in the Big East FYI.

March on triumphantly!

Oh yeah duh, I think I had another Big East school in mind with St. John's but it was Temple and didn't even think about them being in the AAC

Is it OK if they start offering guards again?

Not sure they're going to land six 7-footers. 😆
