Good luck to Mr. Medley-Bacon.
IMO, Bacon is overrated... unless we're talking the Canadian style. 😉
You are walking a fine line her sir! I will not tolerate bacon bashing 😊
Well, the Bacon has left the Saluki-sphere, so Canadian it must be.
It must!!!
(All due respect to bacon... I actually ate 4 bacon and tomato sandwiches last night. I might have been yearning for a Canuck.)
But don't tell my family that, we're all Blackhawks fans.
(Due respect for the Blues faithful. They most likely feel the same.)

I've opened the door on the penalty box Barkeep.

You're the man! I haven't eaten that much pork since Porky Pig mysteriously went missing!
But no lettuce?
4 BTs?
My son-in-law doesn't like tomatoes - he eats BLs!!!
Awesome! Had a great feeling about D'Avanzo all along. If another big is added, I still believe Adong Makoui is the top choice at present, and I'd love to see him here. SIU could really use his athleticism and skill set, particularly defensively (although some high-flying dunks never hurt momentum).
Additionally, an experienced guard/play-maker is another top priority. I'm not sure we'll cash in on the high end with one of these though as it'll be tough to ensure anyone incoming of potential available playing time; especially if the one-time waiver is granted for transferring and Verplancken is immediately eligible to play.
If we get both of the above, where I'd like to see the additional scholarship used would be on a freshman wing. Hopefully one with lots of length and upside.
Per Heff. The new rule would only apply D-1 to D-1 not D-2 to D-1. So he has to sit next year even if they change that rule
Hefferman, as usual, is wrong. If the rule is passed it applies to D2 and he will not have to sit.
D2 doesn't have the in-residency requirement anyway so there is nothing to apply it to. Passing the legislation is actually repealing the rule that only applies to DI basketball, football, baseball and hockey in the first place. It has never applied to half of D1 sports.
Fun fact: one of the schools after Filewich is Presbyterian College from the Big South. They are called the Blue Hose. 😀

@austinsaluki Don't make fun of 'em...my dad played there! His coach was a young Norm Sloan, who went on to coach NC State to a National Title and later coached at Florida. My dad was a starting Guard in 1951-52 and one of the top college scorers in the state of South Carolina. I did not inherit his talent. 🤣
Soooooo. Everybody ready for some news very soon ?
We getting a 6-8 freshman big man?
